My son has gone to the far side of
the rainbow
A place where winged angels fly
Among the stars in hallowed space
Above up in the sky.
My heart cries out in sadness
My tears fall upon my face
I miss the brilliance of his smile
And long for his warm embrace.
I vow to remember each special
moment
As a remembrance of his time on this
earth
A colorful tapestry woven within my
heart
That began on the day of his birth.
I look to the twinkling stars each
night
For a signal from above
That let me know Michael is there
Sending down messages of his love.
